Function and Purpose of the SJIHSC 88/89 (Extract from the Club Constitution)

• Encourage members of the public to support the SJIHC by attending home and away games and joining the SJIHSC 88/89
• Wherever possible to provide extra financial assistance for the SJIHC by means of fundraising activities at the Committee’s discretion
• Where possible and with the agreement of Slapshot to obtain publicity and sponsorship for the SJIHC and players
• To give encouragement and support to all the SJIHC players and management.
• To provide our membership with money saving opportunities where possible, through travel, merchandise and social events.
• To provide a two way link between Slapshot and the SJICSC membership.

Membership

Membership will be due for renewal in the summer/autumn of each year – details will be mailed to all current members at the appropriate time.

2009/10 fees (unchanged from 2008/09):

Renewals... Adult £5.00  Junior £4.00  Family £15.00

Benefits: Membership badge & year bar, Preferential rates on travel, merchandise and supporters' club organised events, Newsletters, Option to present the man of the match awards at non-sponsored home games, Voting rights for player of the month and for the end of season awards, Birthday card for junior (15 and under) members Supporters' Club members will always be given preference on organised events and travel

Merchandise

The Supporters' Club Shop will once again be supplying a range of garments embroidered with your Jets Logo. We will also endeavour to obtain and customise any garment of your choice that is in our2009/10 catalogue.

Many other items of merchandise will also be available and we intend to improve our offerings this season. We are always open to suggestions and we want to know from you, the customers, what you want to spend your hard-earned cash on!

So just pop in every game night to our shop in the Cooler Bar.

Social Events

We will aim to hold the social events for the 2009/10 season at the Farnham Park SYCOB football clubhouse, Farnham Park, Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal, SL2 3BP.

Each event will be advertised on this site, and posters and flyers will be distributed well in advance, along with the relevant information needed.

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible! Lets have some fun this season!

Travel

The aim of the SC is to encourage our fan base to travel to away games as much as possible.

We are in discussion with potential travel providers for 2009/10 – watch this space for news.

We will have preferential prices for Supporters' Club members when travelling with the SC. So make sure that you renew your membership when the time comes!

Just as in Coventry at the April 2008 play-off finals, we can show the other clubs that Slough fans are LOUD AND PROUD so let's have a good following at all games!!!

Junior Supporters Club

Siobhain Parsons will take on the duties of Junior secretary for the 2009/10 season. We hope you will join us in helping the Jets in our own way by joining the supporters' club or sponsoring your favourite players.
